Design Notes

It is important to produce overhangs which flank the region for the digest with specific restriction enzymes in order to secure a robust implementation into a vector system. The fragment was amplified with the primers 12 and 19.

We amplified this part from genomic DNA of Acetobacterium woodii with specific primers by PCR.
